Parents Association

The communication link between the University and parents!

About the Parents Association:
We believe that well-informed parents and families enhance the student experience and promote student success. The UA Parents Association welcomes parents and families as members of the University community and works to provide services that parents see as important to students. Currently, the Parents Association provides resources and hosts events such as:

Crimson Connections Parent newsletter
UA Family Connection
PENpALS (Parent E-mail Notification)
Parent Hotline (1-800-392-2777)
Family Weekend
Parent Orientation
Parent Handbook

Formed in 1993, the Parents Association is a self-supporting organization which operates from Parent Donations.

Our Mission
The University of Alabama Parents Association is committed to the mission of the University of Alabama through promoting continuous relationships among students, parents, families, and the University. The Parents Association serves as the communication link for parents and families of Alabama students by providing the resources needed to stay involved with their student's education.

Membership
All parents and guardians of UA students are members of the Parents Association. The association is dependent on monetary gifts to maintain and extend services. There are no membership fees.
